Forth Valley Top Toes provides a personal toenail clipping service to elderly and disabled people who have no underlying medical conditions but are unable to cut their own toenails and struggle to pay for private podiatry.
Our service aims to put the spring back in your step by doing what you would do for yourself if you were able.
We may not be able to help if you:
- are taking steriod tablets long term.
- are having Immunosuppressive or Chemotherapeutic treatment.
- have circulatory problems especially in lower legs or feet.
- have ingrowing toenails or any infection in the foot or toes.
- are diabetic, and have been assessed as medium or high foot risk within the last 12 months.

Most of us do not give a lot of consideration to having our nails cut but left unchecked they can affect your balance, mobility, confidence and can lead to more long-term conditions. Difficulties with eyesight, mobility or grip can mean managing your foot care can become a real problem. We can help to put the spring back in your step and reduce your risk of falling or injury by providing toenail cutting every 6-10 weeks.
We charge £10.00 at each appointment to cover costs. We give each client a clipper set at their first appointment which must be brought back to each subsequent appointment. If a client forgets or loses their clipper set we charge for £10.00 for a replacement.
Please call us on 01324 692001 or contact us via the website and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
